How to take OWNERSHIP of files

Annoyed with confusing OWNERSHIP of files on Windows 7?
Today i will teach you 3 ways to deal with it:
Manually
Right-click script (FASTEST)
Command prompt


Right click on file
Properties
Navigate to Security
Advanced
Navigate to Owner
Edit
Other users or groups
Type in administrator
Check names
OK
Select Administrators
Apply>OK>OK
Edit
Select Administrators
Check Full control
Apply>OK
OK


Script
This REG script after install, will add a item in your right-click menu to take "Ownership" of that file!

To remove the item from your right0click menu, download and run this script:

Go to Start and type cmd
Right click -> Run as administrator
Type in TAKEOWN /F {PATH TO FILE}
OR
TAKEOWN /f {PATH TO DIRECTORY} /R /D Y

(To grand full permission to administrators, type in
ICACLS {PATH TO FILE} /grant administrators:F for file
ICACLS {PATH TO DIRECTORY} /grant administrators:F /T for folder
